Cleaning the housing

Clean the housing using a slightly moist cloth.

Cleaning your hair and beard clippers

Switch oﬀ the hair and beard clippers by pressing the ON / OFF

switch

Disconnect the lead from the device and pull the plug-in mains

adapter out of the mains socket.

Take any ﬁtted cutting length comb attachment

oﬀ the device.

Wash the cutting length comb attachments

when necessary by

holding them under ﬂowing water.

Then fully dry the attachments.

Using your thumb from the front of the device, press against the

teeth of the cutter head to release the blade set

from its mount

(see Fig. B).

Use the supplied cleaning brush to remove any remaining hair

residue from the blade set

After cleaning, place the locating lug of the blade set

back

into the locating hole of the cutter head mount (see Fig. C).

Re-engage the blade set

by applying a little light pressure from

the rear of the device (see Fig. D).

Tip: To reduce friction apply one or two drops of cutter oil (accessory)

from time to time between the blades and spread it out evenly. You

may also use any acid-free oil (such as sewing machine oil). Wipe

away any excess oil with a cloth.
